Why Choose a Chartered Physiotherapist  and Veterinary Physiotherapist?

Chartered Physiotherapists and Veterinary Physiotherapists:

  • train full-time for a minimum of three years to gain a Bsc Honours in Human Physiotherapy

  • undertake a further 2-3 years post graduate training to specialise in treating animals

  • have excellent knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics allowing them to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions of muscles, nerves, joints, tendons and ligaments

  • are uniquely placed to offer assessment and treatment of horse and rider

  • they are governed by the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT)

  • obliged to maintain professional and public liability insurance cover

  • they work only with veterinary consent and liaise closely with your Veterinary team to ensure optimum care for your animal
